Obituary of Helen Dorothy Godin

The death of Helen Dorothy Godin of 55 Magazine Street, Saint John, wife of the late Alfred J. Godin, occurred on Wednesday, October 22, 2003 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Dorothy (Sayre) Tomlison. Helen owned an operated Helen's Beauty Salon on Charlotte Street, for 31 years, before her retirement. She is survived by one grand daughter, Leesa H. M. Doley (Michael White) of Saint John, one sister, Margery Thorne of Gagetown, NB, two nieces, Linda Gray and Mary Lee Thomas and two nephews, Ronald Thorne and Robert Thorne. She was predeceased by her daughter, Lana Dann and brother, Robert Tomlison Jr. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, October 27, 2003 at 2:15 PM. Interment in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery, Field of Honor.
