Obituary of Myrtle Ivy McKinnon
The death of Myrtle Ivy McKinnon of Topeka Street, Saint John East, wife of the late Joseph Arthur McKinnon occurred March 27, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Chipman, NB, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Ruth (Brown) Pace. Myrtle survived by five daughters Mary Barker of Glen Falls, Clara Day of Grand Bay, Gloria “Bobbi” (Gerald) Merrithew Springfield, NB; Ruth Vossen and Loretta McLean of East Saint John; 28 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased; one daughter Phyllis Fennell; four sisters Flossie, Leila, Celia and Ethel; and four brothers Murray, Percy, Harry and Clair. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506) 634-7424 with visitation on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral will be held from Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday March 30, 2004 with service at 10:00 am. Interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
