Obituary of Edna Beatrice Sampson

The death of Edna Beatrice Sampson, of 264 Golden Grove Road, Saint John, the home of her daughter Margaret, wife of the late Gerald F. Sampson, occurred on Wednesday, April 2, 2003, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late John and Gertrude Eileen (McNeil) Moore. She is survived by one son, John W. Cook (Louise) of Rothesay, one daughter, Margaret E. Defazio (Gordon) of Saint John, several brothers and sisters, 9 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband, Harold Rupert Cook. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Thursday 7-9 PM and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, April 5, 2003 at 11:00 AM. Interment in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
