Obituary of Joyce Sadie Palmer
The death of Joyce (Tucker) Palmer of Saint John, NB, wife of the late “George” Albert Palmer occurred on Monday, May 3, 2004 at the Loch Lomond Villa. Born in Saint John, NB, she was the daughter of the late Reuben and Minnie (Reynolds) Tucker. Joyce is survived by two daughters, Judy (Sheldon) Sproul and Cathy (John) Miller, both of Saint John, one son, Gary (Rose) Palmer of Rothesay, five sisters, Winifred (Ron) Chisholm of Fredericton, Barbara Janes of Saint John, Vera (Gordon) Gillis of Halifax, Valerie (Peter) McCaskill and Marilyn (George) MacPherson, both of Vancouver, one brother, Wilfred (Lois) Tucker of Rothesay, eight grandchildren, Trevor, Carrie, Cory, Troy, Nicholas, Cody, Alexander and Amanda, several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband George she was predeceased by one son, Randy, one sister, Gertrude “Trudy” Keith and one brother-in-law, Dick Janes. At the request of the family there will be no visiting. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 6, 2004 from Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home Chapel, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506) 634-7424 at 2:15 pm. Interment will take place in Greenwood Cemetery. No flowers by request, donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
