Obituary of Eva Carolyn Hasson

The death of Mrs. Eva Carolyn (Queen) Hasson , wife of the late Mr. John R. Hasson occurred on January 31, 2003 in her 99th. year, at her residence, the Dr. V. A. Snow Centre, Hampton, NB. Born in Coote Hill, NB, she was the daughter of the late Winfield and Margaret (Quinn) Queen. Eva had lived in Saint John since 1972, prior to that she lived in Armstrong's Corner, Epworth Park, NB. She was a member of St. Giles United Church, the church choir and a life member of St. Giles U.C.W. Eva is survived by one son Ralph W. (Barbara) of Hoyt, NB, one daughter Blanche (Robert) Jones of Hampton, NB, two grandsons; John of Calgary and James of Fredericton, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she is also predeceased by one brother, Hillis Queen. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424) with visitation one hour before the service. A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 3, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. Interment in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Remembrances may be made to the Dr. V. A.
