Obituary of K. Roy Peacock
The death of K. Roy Peacock, formerly of 2100 Sandy Point Road, Saint John, husband of the late Thelma G. (Parlee) Peacock, occurred on Friday, October 3, 2003, at Kennebec Manor. Born in Saint John, he was the son of the late Walter C. and Edith A. (Willis) Peacock. Mr. Peacock was employed with CPR for many years and owned and operated K. Roy Peacock Florist. He was a member of St. Barnabas Anglican Church, the Masonic Lodge, Order of the Eastern Star and the Shriners. He is survived by two sons, Kenneth G. (Gwyneth) of Dartmouth, NS and Ronald W. (Joanne) of Pickering, ON, one daughter, Marilyn Galbraith (Daryl E.) of Saint John, one sister, Edna M. Hamilton of Clifton Royal, 8 grandchildren, Allison, Jacqueline, Hillary, Jennifer, Kristen, Chris, Jamie and Karen, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Frank and Ralph and one sister, Irene. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at St. Paul's (Valley) Anglican Church, on Monday, October 6, 2003, at 11:00 AM. Interment in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Remembrances to the Shriners' Hospital for sick Children would be appreciated. The Albion Lodge will hold a Masonic service on Sunday at 7:30 PM at the funeral home.
