Obituary of John Weyman "Jack" Trites

John (Jack) Weyman Trites, passed away unexpectedly at home on April 27, 2003. Born January 18, 1922, in Moncton, NB, the youngest son of Weyman and Gertrude Trites. Survived by one, David Trites (Debbie) and one daughter, Lynn Trites, and special daughter, Diane Hilton, five grandchildren, Scott (Jocelyn Adams), Angela (Glen Ross), Wendy (Bob Flight), Natalie, and Mark, two great-grandchildren, Johnathan Trites and Brett Flight, and one sister, Elsie DuVal of New York. He was the Manager of Ocean View Memorial Gardens from 1961 until his retirement. John's genuine love for his family, friends, and animals touched the hearts of everyone who knew him. John was predeceased by his loving wife, Phyllis (Sargent) Trites in 1995, sister, Beatrice Taylor, brothers, Stewart, Hubert, Guerney, and Kenneth. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506) 634-7424, with visitation on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 30, 2003 at 1:00 PM from Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick, Canadian Cancer Society, or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
