Obituary of Dorothy Bacon

The death of Dorothy (Dot) (Danford) Bacon, of Spar Cove Road, Saint John, wife of the late Frank Bacon occurred on Thursday, December 18, 2003 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John she was the daughter of the late George and Mary (Mathias) Danford. Dorothy is survived by one son Donald (Cheryl) Bacon of Chamcook, NB, one sister Gladys Sproule of Saint John, one son-in-law Larry Bell of Saint John, one brother-in-law Harry Carr of Hampton, eight grandchildren; Cindy (Kevin) Estabrooks, Sandra (Brian) McKenney, Sharon (Glenn) Josselyn all of Saint John, Beth (Pete) Bacon, Scott (Pam) Bacon, Brenda (Scott) Sheppard, Gaylyn (Sean) Bacon all of Ontario and Bradley (Cathy) Bacon of California, eleven great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents she was predeceased by one daughter Betty, two brothers Kenny and Buddy, three sisters; Rhoda, Winnie, Mary. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home 111 Paradise Row, Saint John with visiting on Sunday, December 21, 2003 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Monday, December 22, 2003 from Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in Fernhill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
