Obituary of Joseph Olivier Breau
The death of Joseph 'Olivier' Breau, husband of Annie (Caissie) Breau, occurred on February 14, 2004, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born at Pont La France, NB, he was the son of the late Edourd 'Ned' and Rose-Anna (Richardson) Breau. He was employed with Modern Construction Ltd., the City of Saint John Parks and Recreation Department and was a member of ILA Local #273 retiring from long shoring in 1979. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Besides his wife he is survived by his sons Clifford and his wife Therese, Donald and his wife Loretta, his step-son Bernard 'Bernie' Caissie, his daughters Jeannine and her husband Leonard Vautour, Laudia and her husband Bill Saunders, Jeanne-D'Arc and her husband Yvon Daigle, Annonciade, all of Saint John, his brothers Armand and his wife Rita of Riviere Du Portage, Ronald and his wife Maria of Val-Comeau, Raymond and his wife Jeanne of Hamilton, ON, his sisters Dorina Rousselle of Toronto, ON, Laura Benoit of Benoit Office, Alphonsina and her husband Irenee Brideau of Tracadie-Sheila, Irenee of Pont La France, his eighteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. His daughter Gemma, his brothers Archie, Wallace Arthur, Walter, Manford and Eldon, and his brothers-in-law Auguste Rousselle and Juste Benoit predeceased him. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 17, 2004, at 2:15 PM, from Brenan's Chapel. Cremation will take place following the service. Remembrances made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada or the charity of choice would be appreciated.
