Obituary of Robert Glenn Lindsay
The death of Robert Glenn Lindsay, of 144 Victoria Street, Saint John, husband of Holly A. (Macaulay) Lindsay, occurred unexpectedly on Thursday, October 9, 2003 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John he was the son of Pauline (Seely) Lindsay of Saint John and the late William I. Lindsay. Mr. Lindsay was employed with the Janitorial Services Department of the New Brunswick Community College for many years. He was a member of Local #1251. Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by two sons, Murray Robert and John Glenn, one daughter, Shelley Dawn (Brendan Moore), all of Saint John, three brothers, William F. (Kathy), Terrance D. (Anna) and Dana D. (Karen) all of Saint John, five sisters, Carol L. Jackson (Wayne) of Saint John, Bonita M. Martin (Frank) of Hatfield Point, Dorita C. Lindsay, Darella D. Jackson and Melody L. Cole (Ronnie Olsen), all of Saint John, two grandchildren, Dominick Moore and Kayla Dawn Lindsay, mother-in-law, Audrey Macaulay of Saint John and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one son, William Andrew Lindsay and one brother, Daryl I. Lindsay. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506-634-7424), with visiting on Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9 pm and Monday 2-6 pm. Funeral service will be held at Main Street Baptist Church on Tuesday October 14, 2003, at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or donors choice would be appreciated.
