Obituary of Martha Jean Campbell
The death of Martha Jean Campbell of Rothesay, NB, wife of the late Alexander Campbell occurred on Wednesday, March 17, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Amherst, NS, daughter of the late Stephen and Kathleen (Thompson) Arsenault she had been employed with the C.N.I.B. until her retirement. Survived by one son, James (Donna) Campbell of Saint John; one daughter, Pauline (Elmer) Blakney of Rothesay; two brothers, Logan Arsenault and Stephen Arsenault, both of Amherst, NS; one sister, Theresa Legere of Bellville, ON; fifteen grandchildren; many great grandchildren; nine great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by one daughter, Eileen Phyllis Day; two sisters, Annie and Lillian; and three brothers, Fred, Roy and Clarence. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506) 634-7424 with private family visitation on Friday, March 19, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held from Brenan's Chapel on Saturday, March 20, 2004 at 1 pm. Interment will be in Ocean View Memorial Gardens following the service. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick, the Canadian Diabetes Association or a charity of the donor's choice.
