Obituary of Roger Joseph Cormier

The death of Mr. Roger J. Cormier of Shamrock Crt., Saint John, NB, husband of Mrs. Josephine (Dodd) Cormier, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday, January 14, 2004. Born in Bronson Settlement, NB. Roger was the son of the late Leo and Adeline (Melanson) Cormier. He was a Stationary Engineer for many years with Irving Pulp and Paper, Saint John West, a member of St. Pius X Parish and a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #6595. Roger will be missed by his wife Josephine, daughter Terry-Lynn Cormier, at home, brothers; Emery Cormier, Ontario and Andrew Cormier, Kitchener, Waterloo, Ont. as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Roger was predeceased by one brother, Gerald. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424). Visitation on Thursday and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Pius X Church on Saturday, January 17, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick. Interment will take place at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
