Obituary of Clare Marie LeBlanc
The death of Clare Marie (Cormier) LeBlanc, wife of the late James Arthur LeBlanc, occurred on Wednesday, April 14, 2004 at Fundy Nursing Home, Blacks Harbour. Born in Beresford, NB, she was the daughter of the late Alphonse and Alice Aube. Clare was formerly employed with Rogers Bros. and Atlantic Sugar. She was devoted to her faith, and was a former member of St. John the Baptist Parish and CWL, member of the Blessed Virgin Mary Society and a member of St. Rose Prayer Group. Mrs. LeBlanc enjoyed raising her family and helping others and will be sadly missed. She is survived by one son, Paul Cormier (Carmen) of Quispamsis, three daughters, Jean Gallant (Delphin) of Saint John, Joanne LeBlanc (Ernest) of St. George and Linda Bastarache (Sandy) of Saint John, one sister, Yvonne White of Miramichi, grandchildren, Paulette, David and Denise Cormier, Gary, Douglas, Paul, Alan and Nicole Gallant and Andrea and Stephanie LeBlanc, great grandchildren, Karla Marie Robertson, Bryan Robertson, Thomas Robertson, Erin Marie Wright, Matthew Smith, Joell, Aram, Samuel, Alicia, Colin, Emily, Natalie and Jacqueline Gallant and Alex and Isaac Grenier, one great great grandchild, Auryana Wright, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband, Henry Joseph Cormier, sisters, Olga Vienneau, Cordelia Vienneau, Odina Cormier, Stella Frenette and Celine Roy and brothers, Hector and Claude. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Thursday 7-9 PM and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Assumption Church, on Saturday, April 17, 2004 at 10:00 AM. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Remembrances to the charity of the donors choice would be appreciated.
