Obituary of John Ashton Richards

The death of Mr. John Ashton Richards of Robin Hood Lane, husband of Wendy Richards occurred on Saturday, June 14, 2003 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Swansea South Wales, UK, he was the son of the late Robert and Edith (Ashton) Richards. John was employed as a Fine Arts Supervisor for School District 8 until his retirement, taught art at the Saint John Regional Correctional Centre and was a member of the N.B.T.A. He is survived by one son Michael (Debbie) Richards of Mississauga, Ontario. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506-634-7424) with visiting on Tuesday and Wednesday, June 17 & 18, 2003 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2003 from Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Charity of the donor's choice.
