Obituary of Donna V. Boone

The unexpected death of Mrs. Donna (Peterson) Boone, of Saint John, NB, wife of the late Mr. Robert Boone occurred at her residence on Saturday, January 24, 2004. Born in Saint John West, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mildred (French) Peterson. Donna worked at various hospitals including the D.V.A. and the Saint John General Hospital as a Registered Nurse until she retired in the late 1970's. She was a member of the Anglican Church Women, Portland Prayer Circle and congregation of Portland United Church, in later years she was an instructor for the Red Cross. Besides her husband Robert, Donna is predeceased by one sister, Norma Peterson. Donna is survived by one daughter, Sharon A. Boone of Vancouver, BC, one sister, Audrey Martin of Fredericton, NB and her special nephews and nieces, Paul and Barbara Boone and Fred and Lorraine Boone all of Saint John, NB. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424) with visiting on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from Brenan's Chapel on Thursday, January 29, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick.
