Obituary of Frederick Herbert Monteith

The death of Frederick Herbert Monteith, of 145 King Street East, Saint John, occurred on Friday, April 30, 2004, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, he was the son of the late Frederick and Gladys (Marr) Monteith. He is survived by one sister, Grace Roy of Rothesay and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by five sisters, Theresa LeBlanc, Olive Melvin, Janet Osmond, Dorothy Durley and Frances Daley and one brother, Charles Monteith. By request there will be no visiting at the funeral home. A memorial service will be held at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home Chapel, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), on Tuesday, May 4, 2004 at 2:15 PM. Interment in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. No flowers by request, remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
