Obituary of Glendon Murray Lester

The death of Glendon Murray Lester, husband of the late Elizabeth (Williams) Lester, of the Loch Lomond Villa, occurred on March 5, 2004, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John he was the son of the late Wellington and Sarah (McColgan) Lester. He was a barber by trade and was the proprietor of Lester's Barber Shop. He loved to sing and enjoyed his cottage at New River Beach. Glendon was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He is survived by his daughter Sara (Mrs. Bruce Mowery) of Saint John, his grandchildren Jennifer and Adam, his sisters-in-law Barbara Williams, Mary (Ron) Grant and Jean Williams and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 9, 2004, at 10:00 AM, from the Loch Lomond Villa Chapel. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery.
