Obituary of Elsie Marion Marr

The death of Elsie Marion Marr, wife of the late Robert Marr, of the Church Home of St. John and St. Stephen, occurred on January 2, 2004, at her residence. Born in Chipman, Queens Co., she was the daughter of the late John and Florence (Fowler) Bishop. She had lived in the Rothesay area for over 75 years and was a member of Rothesay Baptist Church, Club 60 of the church, and was a Dominion and Provincial Life Member of the WMS. She was a former member of the Gondola Point Senior Citizens and Fireside Club. She is survived by her son John Marr and his wife Margaret of Gondola Point, her daughter Marion Cosman of Gondola Point, her sister Verna Waddelow of Fredericton, her grandchildren Robert, David, Linda and Beth, her great-grandchildren Angela, Peter, Amy, Craig and James and several nieces and nephews. Her brothers Harold, Fred, Russell, Charles and Dean predeceased her. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Sunday from 7-9 PM and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2004, at 2:00 PM, from Rothesay Baptist Church. Interment will take place at the Gondola Point Baptist Cemetery.
