Obituary of Janette Eva Allen
Janette Eva Allen of Gagetown passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 23, 2008 at her residence. Born at Saint John, she was a daughter of the late Richard and Eva (Titus) McGuire. Janette was a long time resident of Gagetown. Janette is survived by her companion, Gene Brooks; sons Bruce McGuire of Saint John, Kevin Crossman of Hampton, and Edwin Crossman of Hampton; her daughter, Lois (Kenneth Law) of Gagetown; step-sons Donnie and Terry; step-daughters Joyce and Debra; a brother, Hibbert McGuire of Saint John; sisters Shirley Nash of Gagetown, Lois Meddina of New Hampshire, Betty Turner of Kapuskasing, Ontario, and Sylvia Heluckela of Boston, Massachusetts; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; nephews Brian and Sutton King of Saint John; a niece, Debbie; and several other nieces and nephews. Janette was predeceased by her husband Francis D. (Frank) Allen; daughters Karen Crossman and Rena Allen; a son, Derrick Crossman; and a nephew, Hibbert King. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Tuesday from 7-9 PM and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Thursday at 2:15 PM from Brenan’s Chapel. Interment will be at a later date in St. John’s Anglican Cemetery, Gagetown.
