Obituary of Francis Allen Oliver
Oliver, Francis Allen … The death of Francis Allen “Mad Dog” Oliver of Nerepis, NB, occurred on Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, NB, he was a son of the late John Francis and Mary Catherine (Simpson) Oliver. Frank was retired from the CPR as an Engineer, was a past-member of the RCL and enjoyed horseracing. Survived by his special companion, Catria Jackson of Nerepis; five daughters, Norma Jean (Tony) Coombs of Saint John, Mary Ann Oliver (Mark Raynes) of Welsford, NB, Donna Lynn (Chris) Maillet, Beverly (Bob) Perry and Krista (Graham) Walton, all three of Saint John; four brothers, Floyd (Nora) of Saint John, Leo (Mike) of Montreal, QC, Harris of Portland, Maine and Jack (Pat) of Saint John; one sister, Mary Earle of Saint John; nine grandchildren, Warren and Kristen Coombs, Jamie Allison and Michael Scott, Keri Lynn and Christopher Maillet, Shauna (Aaron) Peddle, Josh Perry and Brianne Walton; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his spouse, Ann Marie (Estabrooks) Oliver; two brothers, Gregory and Joseph. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424. By the request of the family there will not be any visiting. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated from St. Augustine’s Church, Grand Bay … Westfield, NB on Friday, May 2, 2008 at 10 am. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to St. Augustine’s Church Building Fund or a charity of the donor’s choice.
