Obituary of Eva Pearl Fisher
Fisher, Eva Pearl – It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Eva Fisher at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Monday, January 7, 2008. Born on December 6, 1926 a daughter of the late Thomas Patrick and Bertha (Ready) Ferrie. Employed by the late Judge Harrison and Teed family for over forty-six years. Eva was an avid bingo player and knitter. She loved to fish and take part in the activities of the North End Community. She was loved by all who knew her. Survived by her daughter, Carol Ann Cosman (Daniel Lavigne) of Hampton; her son, Ronald William Fisher of Saint John; one granddaughter, Tammy (Grant) Kelly of Hampton; three grandsons: Troy Cosman of Hampton, Curtis and Harrison Fisher of Saint John; two great-grandchildren, Jessica and Brandon Kelly of Hampton; three sisters: Annie Kemp, Muriel Laird and Ruby Vanwart, all of Saint John; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one brother, Robert Ferrie; four sisters: Mabel Johnson, Hazel Watson, Margery Laird and Edith Keleher, and her best friend, Marjorie Cleveland. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Friday, January 11, 2008 at 1 pm. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. Remembrances made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick, the North End Community Centre or Main St. Baptist Church would be appreciated.
