Obituary of Norman F. Sherriff
The death of Norman F. Sherriff of Lepreau, Charlotte County, NB, occurred on Sunday, October 14, 2007 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on March 1, 1946, he was the son of the late Edward “Ted” and Evelyn (Speight) Sherriff. Norman was a mechanic for many years and had been employed at Franks B/A on Chesley and Bentley, Simms Corner Texaco, Ralph’s Action Esso on Manawagonish Road, Ernie’s Esso on Manawagonish and retired from Ernie’s Tilton Corner Irving. He is survived by Marnie and family, four brothers, Arnold (Violet) of Grand Bay-Westfield, George (Deanna) of Ontario, Bob of Upper Golden Grove and Terrance of Saint John, one sister, Sharon Sherriff (Ralph) of Saint John, several nieces and nephews. By request of Norman there will be no visitation or funeral service. Following cremation, interment will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick, the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of the donors’ choice would be appreciated. Arrangements under the direction of Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424).
