Obituary of Everett R.D. Todd
The death of Everett R. D. Todd of Saint John, husband of Isabella H. (Davidson) Todd, occurred on Monday, May 7, 2007 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on April 8, 1927, he was the son of the late Charles W. and Ruth L. (McCrow) Todd. Mr. Todd was a tractor trailer driver with Imperial Oil for many years before his retirement in 1982. Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, David Todd (Susan) of Saint John, three daughters, Florence Blount (Norman) of Amherst, NS, Muriel Melanson (Edward) of Saint John and Carol McPhee (Mark) of Saint John, one brother, Julian Todd (Nora) of Saint John, one sister, Marguerite Whitenect of Saint John, six grandchildren, Susan, Christopher, Wendy, Ricky, Kayla and Shelby, one great granddaughter, Allison, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers, Nelson, Melvin and Howard Todd. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Wednesday and Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, May 11, 2007 at 2:15 PM. Interment in Fernhill Cemetery. Remembrances to the Saint John Regional Hospital Dialysis Unit, the Alzheimer Society or Spina Bifida would be appreciated.
