Obituary of Lillian R. Harris
Harris, Lillian R. (Thomas) - On August 21, 2007 Lillian Rebecca Harris passed away peacefully at White Rapids Manor, Fredericton Junction. Born in Tracy on February 9, 1910, she was the daughter of the late Fannie (Tracy) and Willard Thomas. She was predeceased by her husband Alton L. Harris, sisters Adelaide Thomas and Olive Lord, and brothers Roscoe and Bliss Thomas. She is survived by one daughter, Enid (Rich) Kapolka of Lake Land Florida; one son, Paul (Sue) of Oshawa, Ontario; one brother, Darrell (Eldora) of Fredericton; two sisters-in-law, Edna Thomas of Fredericton and Althea Fisher of Guelph, Ontario; one brother-in-law, George Fisher of Guelph, Ontario; four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church, Saint John. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, Saint John, NB (506) 634-7424. Visitation will be held at the Tracy United Baptist Church Family Center, Tracy, N.B. on Thursday, August 23, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held from the Tracy United Baptist Church on Friday, August 24, 2007 at 2:00 pm with the Reverend Leo Porter officiating. Interment in the Tracy United Baptist Cemetery. Pallbearers will be nephews, Roland, Glendon and Bernard Lord, Alden Thomas and nephews-in-law, Basil Thomason and Rheal Arsenault. Reception to follow in the Family Center. For those who wish, memorial tributes to the Tracy United Baptist Church, Canadian Red Cross or charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
