Obituary of Joseph Paul Campbell
The death of Paul Campbell of Stock Farm Road, Quispamsis, NB occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday, October 24, 2007. He was born in Saint John, NB, the son of the late John D. “Jack” and Alice M. (Bastarache) Campbell. Paul proudly served his country as a member of the Canadian Armed Forces and went on to join the Corps of Commissionaires before his retirement in 2004. He is survived by his wife of 50 years Gloria F. (Gavin) Campbell; two sons: John (Joanne) and Dale Campbell; two daughters: Pauline (Pat) Shannon and Stacey Campbell; one brother: Ronald (Margaret); four sisters: Margaret (John) Hull, Lada (Ronald) Beckingham, Rose Fader and Elizabeth (Brian) Tracey; one sister- in-law: Sharon Campbell; 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Paul was predeceased by his brother, Frank and sister, Annie Hull. Devoted to his family he will be sadly missed. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424) with visitation on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Monday, October 29, 2007 at 12:05 pm. Interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick.
