Obituary of Raymond F. Essensa
The death of Raymond Francis Essensa, of Saint John, NB, husband of Dorothy (Golding) Essensa, occurred on Saturday, January 26, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born at Harvey Station, NB, he was a son of the late Gardner and Margaret (Piercy) Essensa. Raymond retired from the Telegraph Journal as a parking lot attendant and operated a tractor trailer for 10 years. Besides his wife he is survived by daughter, Margaret Essensa; step-sons: Gary Milne and Robert (Suzanne) Milne; brother, Donald (Maxine) Essensa all of Ontario; sisters, Margaret (Doug) MacAloon of Stanley, NB, Glenna (Lindsay) Muise of Ontario, Shirley Watling of Woodstock, NB; grandchildren, Sara, Robert, Jennifer, Ivan, Kerri and Krista; great-granddaughters, Kerissa, Kaleigh and Sara, several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by sisters, Bertha and Christine, brothers, Lawrence, Lloyd and Earl. By the request of Raymond there will be no visitation. Following cremation a memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at 2:15 pm from Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home Chapel, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424). Interment will take place in Harvey, NB, at a later date. Remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
