Obituary of Christina Alice Anderson
The death of Christina Anderson of Kingston, NS (formerly of Rothesay, NB) occurred at the Soldiers Memorial Hospital in Middleton, NS on Monday, May 12, 2008. She was born in Saint John, NB on June 12, 1913 to the late George and Annie (Hall) Simpson. Christina was a life member of St. Mary’s and St. Bartholomew’s, Anglican Church, East Saint John and the Anglican Church Women. She was a former member of the Kennebecasis Seniors Citizens Club and Order of the Eastern Star. Christina is survived by her two daughters: Cheryl Lenton (Brian) of Kingston, NS and Georgina Wheeler (Robert) of Summerville, South Carolina; four grandchildren: Michael and Shalla Gaudet, Jennifer Wade and Suzanne Carver; four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Harold “Ted” Anderson and sister Elsie Trecartin Owen. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Friday, May 16, 2008 from 12-1 pm. The funeral service will follow the visiting starting at 1 pm from Brenan’s Chapel. A Reception will follow the funeral service at Brenan’s Funeral Home. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the SPCA or the Alzheimer’s Society.
