Obituary of Harold Radcliffe Little
Little, Harold Radcliffe The peaceful and unexpected death of Harold R. Little of West Saint John, New Brunswick, occurred Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at his home. Born in Kouchibouguac, New Brunswick on December 23,1940, he was the son of the late Alden and Gertrude (MacDonald) Little. Harold was employed at Irving Pulp and Paper for 45 years before his retirement in 2005. He was very active in Boy Scouts and an avid hunter. Harold was a quiet man who enjoyed the simple pleasures of life which included going to yard sales most weekends. His greatest love and pride was reserved for his family. He will be sadly missed by his two sons, Trevor (Janet) of Kingston, New Brunswick, and Troy of Singapore; as well as their mother Ellen Hutchinson of Saint John, NB. 'Papa' is also survived by his two beautiful granddaughters Julia and Jessica as well as one brother, Roland (Annette) Little of Kouchibouguac, NB; his aunt Gertrude MacDonald; his uncle Earl MacDonald; several nieces, nephews and many cousins. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424) with visiting on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Knox Presbyterian Church in Kouchibouguac, NB, on Saturday, October 13, at 3:00 p.m. with visitation at the church two hours before the funeral. Interment will take place in the adjoining church cemetery. Remembrances may be made to a charity of the donors' choice or the Canadian Cancer Society.
