Obituary of Stanley C. Bustin
Surrounded by his family, Stan Bustin, loving husband of Beatrice (Main) went home to be with the Lord, on Friday, May 4, 2007 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on August 16, 1925, he was the son of the late Stanley and Johanna (Klinge) Bustin. He served with the Canadian Army during World War II. Stan was the proprietor of Bustin’s Fine Furniture. He was a member PROBUS and K-40 (Kinsmen club) and delivered for meals on wheels for many years. He was an active member of St. James the Less Anglican Church and always helping others. Besides his wife, Bea, Stan is survived by his children Carolyn and her husband Dale Carson, Tom and his wife Bonnie, Bob and his wife Debbie, Joanne and her husband John Mason, his sisters Jean Bell and Joanne Blodgett, his grandchildren Angela, Cyndi, Michael, Katie, Megan, Daniel, Luke, Shelley, Nicole, Robert, Christopher and Melissa, his great grandchildren Rylie, Haley, Cassidy, David and Emma and several nieces and nephews. His brother Bill and sisters Ruth Emmerson and Eleanor Heggie predeceased him. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Monday and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, May 9, 2007, at 11 am at St. James the Less Church. Interment at Fernhill Cemetery at a later date. Remembrances made to St. James the Less Building Fund or the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
