Obituary of Mildred Marie Logan

The death of Mildred Marie Logan occurred on January 22, 2008 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Born in Carsonville, NB she was the daughter of the late Oliver A. and Ella M. (McFarlane) Kelly. She was employed with M & J Logan Enterprises, was a member and volunteer with the Fairvale Outing Association and enjoyed square dancing with the Kings Valley Squares. Surviving are her daughters; Susan E. May (James Smallman) of Rothesay, Wendy L. Hatfield (Wilfred) of Quispamsis, Catherine Ann Francis (George Fowler) of French Village, daughter-in-law Gwendolyn Logan of Quispamsis, brothers; Austin C. Kelly (Darlene) of McAdam, Harris R. Kelly (Isabel) of Petitcodiac, sisters; Marjorie Mason of Millstream, Bernice Mason of Carsonville, Helen Hatfield of Sussex, grandchildren; Ken Hatfield (Diane), Olivia Sanford (Jacob), Kyle Logan, Vicky Hatfield, Jeremy Francis, Justin Francis and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by her son Oliver ‘Jack’ Logan, infant children Donald Frank Logan and Heather Ann Logan, brothers; William Arlington Kelly, Ralph J. Kelly and Ashley O. Kelly and sister Olive Amos. Resting at Brenans Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Thursday from 7-9 pm and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, at 1:00 pm, from Brenan’s Chapel. Following cremation interment will take place at St. Luke’s Anglican Church Cemetery, Gondola Point, in the spring. Remembrances made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of NB or the Diabetic Unit Saint John Regional Hospital would be appreciated.
