Obituary of Terry Steven McConnell
McConnell, Terry Steven – The death of Terry McConnell of Saint John, NB, husband of Susan “Sue” Mason-McConnell, occurred on Saturday, November 29, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on August 19, 1961, he was a son of Bertha (Scribner) and the late Lloyd “Larry” McConnell. Terry was a faithful member of St. Mary and St. Bartholomew’s Church, he was a referee for Saint John Minor Youth Hockey, was a coach of Forest Hills Middle School Hockey Team and of the East Suburban Little League. Terry was a St. Joachim’s Beaver Leader. Survived by his loving wife Susan; mother, Bertha of Saint John; one son, Matthew McConnell of Saint John; one brother, Wayne (Patty) of Moncton, NB; two sisters, Valerie Lebel of Saint John and Katheryn McConnell of Toronto, ON; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and cousins. Predeceased by his father, Lloyd “Larry” McConnell and a brother-in-law, Bob Lebel. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John 506 (634-7424) with visiting on Monday and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at 2:00 pm from St. Mary and St. Bartholomew’s Church. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Remembrances may be made to St. Mary and St. Bartholomew’s Memorial Fund.
