Obituary of Ann Louise Wilson
Ann Louise (Ramey) Wilson of Saint John, wife of the late Ronald B. Wilson, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2009 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Ann was born at Kentville, Nova Scotia on February 27, 1928, a daughter of the late William and Lulu (Bailey) Ramey, and was a well-known broadcaster on both radio and television. She was hostess of several shows on CHSJ Television, and was known affectionately as “Miss Ann”. After retirement, she resumed her love of music by giving piano lessons to many local children. Ann is survived by her son, Michael Wilson of Saint John; her granddaughter, Teagan Ashley Rose of Saint John; a sister, Christine Wornell (Doug) of Sydney, Nova Scotia; and by her good friend, Libby Parker of Saint John. In keeping with Ann’s wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. The funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). For those who wish, remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Cancer Research Society would be appreciated by the family.
