Sears, Marie Jeannette … The death of Marie Jeannette Sears of Saint John, NB, wife of Brian Sears, occurred on Sunday, June 15, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Riviere du Portage, NB on June 15, 1950, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Adelia Doucet. Jeannette is survived by her husband, Brian; four sons, Tony, Paul (Nancy), Michael (Kelly) and Terry ( Tammy), all of Saint John; seven sisters, Florida (Vital) Vautour of Rogersville, NB, Geraldine Robichaud of Neguac, NB, Germaine Hayes of Blackville, NB, Edith (Hector) Gallant of Bellefond, NB, Shirley Crawford, Mabel (Donald) Pitre and Roxanne (Greg) Masters, all three of Miramichi, NB; five brothers, Emile Doucet and Billy (Esther) Doucet, both of Miramichi, Euclide (Ann) Doucet of Blackville, Celestin Doucet of Legaceville, NB and Fernand (Valerie) Doucet of South Esk, NB; thirteen grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by two brothers Carl and Ronnie Doucet. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2008 at 10 am. Remembrances may be made to any charity of choice.
