Obituary of Margaret Bernice Doyle

Doyle, Margaret Bernice – The death of Margaret Doyle of Saint John, NB, wife of the late Charles B. Doyle, occurred on Monday, May 25, 2009 at Loch Lomond Villa. Born in Saint John on April 16, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Eileen (McNally) Gamson. During WWII Margaret had served with the Canadian Woman’s Army Corp. She is survived by four sons, Samuel (Joan), Steven (Lori), Michael, all three of Saint John and Byron of Victoria, BC; two daughters, Nancy MacNeil of Lower Sackville, NS and Brenda of Saint John; one brother, Robert “Bob” (Norma) Gamson of Fredericton, NB; one half-brother, Frank Corbec of Saint Andrew's, NB; thirteen grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Donald; a daughter, Deborah Casey; and two brothers, Edmund and Raymond. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9. A Memorial Service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Thursday, May 28, 2009 at 11:30 am. A Private family committal will be held at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
