Obituary of Michael George Raymond
Michael George Raymond of Saint John, husband of Margaret Ann (Northorp) Raymond, passed away on Friday, January 16, 2009 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born at Saint John on June 9, 1962, he was the son of George and Dolores (Devlin) Raymond. Mike worked as a refrigeration technician for Scarhawk Industries. He was very involved in Saint John Little League Baseball, as well as minor hockey. In addition to his wife Margie, Mike is survived by his daughter, Kelly Michelle Raymond and his son, Gregory George Raymond, both at home; his parents, George and Dolores of Saint John; his parents-in-law, Murray and Theresa Northorp of Saint John; sisters Katherine Ann Smith (Andrew) and Patricia LeBlanc; sisters-in-law Natalie Northorp and Christine Northorp, all of Saint John; nieces Meaghan and Mallory Smith and Erin LeBlanc; and nephew Ryan LeBlanc; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Sunday and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11:00 AM from St. Joachim’s Church, Loch Lomond Road. Interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to Saint John Little League Baseball would be appreciated by the family.
