Obituary of Neina Dorothy McLellan
McLellan, Neina Dorothy – The death of Neina D. (Melvin, Vautour) McLellan of Saint John, NB, wife of Gene McLellan Sr., occurred on Sunday, March 8, 2009 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, she was a daughter of the late David and Cecile (Cyr) Melvin. Neina had been employed as a Car Rental Agent for a number of years. She loved life and will be sadly missed by her husband, Gene; two sons, Kristopher (Amanda) Vautour and Ryan Vautour, both of Saint John; three daughters, Lisa Vautour, Monique “Nicky” (Derek) Maynard and Bernetta (Terry) Ramsay, all of Saint John; two step-sons, Derek (Elizabeth) McLellan and Gene Jr. (Stacey) McLellan, both of Saint John; two brothers, Walter (Helen) McHugh of Fredericton, NB and Jerry (Betty) McHugh of Vancouver, BC; three sisters, Leona Marks of Saint John , Marie (Peter) Mallette of Ontario and Marlene (Bill) McHugh of Saint John; eleven grandchildren, Tatyana Vautour, Kirk and Courtney Amerault, Stephanie Hachey, Emma, Parker and Ainsley Maynard, Justin and Thomas McLellan, Natisha and Matthew Ramsay; one great-grandchild, Kayden Hachey; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by four brothers, infant Glendon, Bernard “Pat”, Art and Don; nephew, David McHugh. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Thursday, March 12, 2009 at 10:00 am. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to the ALS Society of New Brunswick. www.brenansfh.com
