Obituary of Iris Losier
As a family, it is with sadness that we announce the death of Iris Losier. Born in Manchester, England, March, 1937, she moved to Canada as a teenager with her parents Albert and Hannah Jacobs (now deceased). She married and had four children who survived her: Phillip Losier (wife Deborah), David Losier (wife Deborah), Michael Losier (wife Heidi, son Zackary), and Susan Robichaud (son Tristan). She is survived by her siblings Beryl Roberts (Susan, Sally, Steven), Rita Titus (daughter Pam), and Albert Jacobs (daughters Rebecca, Jennifer and Jamie). While a young woman, she came to know the True God Jehovah, dedicated her life to Him and served Him faithfully until the day of her death. As a youth she was very active in sports, especially soccer, and enjoyed being a spectator in later years. Her family and friends look forward to seeing Iris again, in good health, on a cleansed Paradise Earth (Ps. 37:29) We would like to send our heartfelt thanks to the healthcare individuals who cared for Iris during her illness and supported us as a family. A special thanks to Dr. Wildish and Ralph at Extramural, Ruth, Linda and Faith at 3B South, and Dr. O’Brien in Palliative Care, as well as Diane, Nikki, Meghan, Kim, Tim, Michelle and Tammy, the wonderful staff at Hospice. There is no visitation by request. A Memorial Service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Westfield, on Sunday, November 21st at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice or the Canadian Cancer Society can be made through Brenan’s Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424).
