Obituary of Chad J. Simon
Chad Joseph Simon of Saint John passed away as a result of a motor vehicle accident in Saint John West, on Friday, January 1, 2010. Chad was born on November 16, 1990, Saint John, a son of Cindy Simon and Daniel Savoie. Chad attended St. Malachy’s High School. Was a sports enthusiast, playing hockey, fishing, which was the joy of his life, and was an avid Toronto Maple Leaf Supporter. Chad is survived by his grandmother, Judy Simon, with whom he resided; his mother, Cindy Simon and father, Daniel (Lisa) Savoie; brother, Dylan; his Aunt Melissa Simon and her son William; god father, Dave Maber; grand-father, Chuck (Betty) Simon, Ottawa; several other aunts and uncles, cousins and many friends. Arrangement are under the care and direction of Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Monday, from 2-4, 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 5, 2010, from Cathedral of Immaculate Conception, Waterloo Street, Saint John, at 12 noon. Remembrances may be made to the Asthma Society of Canada or a charity of the donor’s Choice.
