Obituary of Earl Joseph Hebert
Peacefully in his sleep, the death of Earl Hebert, formerly of 595 Rothesay Avenue, husband of the late Beatrice (Lewis) Hebert occurred on Thursday, October 14, 2010 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. He was born on April 23, 1923 at Rexton to the late Charles and Madeline (Poirier) Hebert. Before his retirement, Earl was a self employed plumber. Earl was a member of St. Anne’s Church. He loved puzzles, playing bingo and karaoke. He is survived by one son, Allan Hebert of Bloomfield; two daughters: Shirley MacDonald (James) of Rowley and Patricia Gray of Saint John; three brothers: Leon, Norman and Charles Hebert; two sisters: Mina Richard and Freda Ward; nine grandchildren: Danny Hebert, Randy Hebert, Diane Hebert, Cindy Chevarie (Daniel), Angela Reed (Rich), Brenda Bartlett (Murray), Tammy Gray, Amanda Gray and Trisha Shepherd (Todd) and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Besides his wife and parents, Earl was predeceased by two brothers: Zoel and Adlore and two sisters: Eva and Isabel. Earl was a great man and will be missed by his family and friends especially his dog, Angel. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held from Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, October 18, 2010 at 10 AM. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
