Obituary of Anthony J. Marino
Marino, Anthony Joseph- It is with sadness that the family of Anthony (Tony), devoted husband of Constance (Gabriel) Marino, announce his passing at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Saturday, May 8 , 2010. Born at Saint John on April 16, 1929, he was the son of the late Joseph and Alma Marino. Anthony retired from Irving Oil after many years of service, and was a member of St. Joachim’s Parish. In addition to his wife, Anthony is survived by two sons, Joe (Bonnie) and Bob (Jan Davis); granddaughters, Christie, Lori, Jennifer, and Kelly; great-grandchildren, Jacqueline and Josh; his brother Hartley (Jean); and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by daughter-in-law, Cynthia Marino; brothers, James, Harold, and Philip; and sister, Marjorie Butts. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424) with visiting on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joachim’s Church, 603 Loch Lomond Road on Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
