Obituary of Timothy Patrick Keleher
Timothy Patrick Keleher Sr. of Saint John passed away on Friday, December 10, 2010 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on October 2, 1943, he was a son of the late Timmy and Edith (Ferrie) Keleher. Timmy was a roofer by trade, and started his career at Wilson’s Roofing, then Duguay’s Roofing, and subsequently started his own business, Tim’s Roofing with his sons. He was a loyal member of the Naval Veteran’s Mainbrace Legion since his early twenties. Timmy loved the “oldies” music, was a big Elvis fan, and played a mean comb. He loved his family dearly, and will be missed by many. Timmy is survived by six children, Timmy Keleher Jr. (Kathy), Jamie Keleher (Patsy), Jeff Keleher (Darlene), Ricky Keleher (Holly), Tammy Keleher (John), and Tanya Keleher; a sister, Sandra White; the mother of his children, Judy Gray; his best friend and companion, Barb Hachey; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and countless friends. Timmy was predeceased by a sister, Patsy Muise; and by his common-law wife, Irene Bridges. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held from Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at 12:00 Noon. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
