Obituary of Susan Veronica Fuller
A sparkle of life has left a Saint John family today with the passing of Susan Veronica Fuller, a well known personality in the Saint John area, whose death occurred on Thursday, November 19, 2009 at her residence. Born at Saint John on June 5, 1948, she was a daughter of the late H. Frederick and Gladys Margaret (Logue) Fuller. Susan brought a smile to everyone she met; she loved all living things, and was graced with the gift of shopping, which was a great passion for her. Her working life began with NB Tel, where she worked for more than 30 years; and then progressed to the world of Real Estate, working with Exit Realty. She was an active member of St. John the Baptist Parish, and was also a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. Susan is survived by a brother, Frederick J. Fuller (Rosalie) of Saint John; sisters Mary Ann Stevens (Donald) of Saint John and Bobbie Barrett (Murray) of Upper Golden Grove; a sister-in-law, Maureen Fuller of Saint John; several nieces and nephews; and last but not least, her dogs Jacob and Lizzy and cat Prissy. Susan was predeceased by a brother, Paul in 1979. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Saturday from 7-9 PM and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 11 AM from St. Ann’s Church, Simpson Drive, Saint John. Interment will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to the Extra Mural Hospital or the Cancer Unit at the Saint John Regional Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
