Obituary of Evelyn R. Lenentine

The death of Evelyn R. Lenentine of Saint John, wife of Raymond Lenentine occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 following a brief illness. She was born in Mill Village, NS and was a daughter of the late Douglas and Ruth (Freeman) Teal. Evelyn spent the greater part of her life in Saint John and was a member of Edith Avenue Baptist Church and the Women’s Missionary Society. She was a loving wife and mother. She is survived by her husband; one daughter, Wanda Lenentine and one son, Wendell Lenentine, both of Saint John; One brother, Jack Blakney of Dartmouth, NS; one sister, Elizabeth Lewis (Roy) of Bridgewater, NS and a niece, Sharon Corkum (Everette) of Bridgewater, NS. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at 12:00 noon at Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel followed by a reception at Brenan’s Reception Centre. Private family interment will take place at Fernhill Cemetery at a later date. Remembrances to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
