Obituary of Linda Ann Doucette
Linda Ann Doucette (Baby Face) of Saint John, wife of Darren Wayne Doucette (Snuggle Bear), passed away on Thursday, July 15, 2010 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born at Saint John on April 17, 1962, she was a daughter of Eleanor Beddow and the late Walter Beddow. Linda liked to crochet, and she and her husband supported the Canadian Breast Cancer Run for the Cure. In addition to her husband, Linda is survived by her mother, Eleanor Beddow-East and step-father Wally of Saint John; daughters Amanda Lee Lewis (Shane Bourgeois), Cheyenne Marie Lewis (Holly), Courtney Dawn Gardner (Lucas), and Melissa Sue Lewis (Darren Joseph Doucette), all of Saint John; a step-son, Christopher Donovan of Grand Bay-Westfield; sisters Christine Brigley “Sis” (Eldon) and Jacqueline Duplessis (Paul) of Saint John; brothers Walter Beddow, Aaron Beddow (Cheryl) both of Saint John, Blaine Beddow “FFPP” (Angel) of Grand Bay-Westfield, and step-brother Joey East (Melanie) of Saint John; three grandchildren, Pamela Dawn Rose Gardner, Dejay Walter Wayne Doucette; and Cloey Lynn Elizabeth Gardner – on the way; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Monday at 10:00 AM from Brenan’s Chapel. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to a Living Memorial or to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
