Obituary of David Stephen Osborne
After a long and couragious battle with Supeanuclear Palsy (Picks Disease), the death of David Osborne occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday, October 20, 2010. He was born in Saint John on February 21, 1951 to the late D. Marjorie Osborne. Before his illness, David drove taxi in Saint John. He was an avid hockey fan, the Toronto Maple Leafs win or lose, they were his team. David is survived by cousins, Gussie Roxanne Daigle (Francis) and Britt MacLeod (Cindy); girlfriend, Mary-Beth Heffernan; best friend, Tony Holmes and several second cousins. Besides his mother, he was preceased by a brother, Dennis MacLeod; aunt, Helen and uncle, Charles. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held from Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, October 25, 2010 at 2 PM. Interment will take place in Greenwood Cemetery. Remembrances to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
