Obituary of John Stuart Sullivan
The death of John Stuart Sullivan occurred unexpectedly on Monday, April 26, 2010 at his residence. Born February 22, 1947 in Saint John, he was the son of Lillian (Lynch) Sullivan and the late J. Royden Sullivan John spent more than forty enjoyable years in the computer field working for J.D.I., N.B. Tel., D.M.R. and M.C.M Technology with the most recent years as C.I.O. of the Eddy Group Limited. John was the Past Commander and a Life member of the Kennebecasis Power and Sail Squadron. He also served for many years as treasurer with the Squadron. Besides his mother Lillian, he is survived by his daughter, Carey (David) Lee; son, Keith Sullivan; brother, Bruce (Diane); niece, Susan (Dennis) May; nephew, Matthew (Sarah) Sullivan; great nephew, Eric and great niece Emily, as well as aunts, cousins and many friends, especially Beverley Sullivan. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Thursday, April 29, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 30, at 11:00am from St. John’s (Stone) Church, 87 Carleton, Street, Saint John. Donations in memory may be made to Seafarers’ Mission, 92 Tilley Lane, Saint John, N.B. E2M 5Y1 or Hospice Greater Saint John.
