Obituary of Betty Joan Heans
Heans Betty Joan – Betty Joan Heans of Saint John, New Brunswick wife of the late Ward Heans, passed way April 17, 2010, in The Church of St John and St Stephen Home. Betty was a loving wife and mother. She is now dancing in heaven with Ward. Surviving are her children, Peter (Krista) Heans, Quispamsis; Elizabeth Anne (Richard) Nowlan, Quispamsis; Susan (Frank) Buck, Quispamsis; James (Tanya Barber-Heans) Heans, El Cerrito, California; grandchildren, Matthew Heans, Anna Heans, Melanie Graef and Michael Nowlan; great-grandchildren, Hailey Graef and Gus Graef; several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, Betty was predeceased by her brothers, Leonard Cunningham, Donald Cunningham and Jack Cunningham. A celebration of Betty’s life will take place Monday, May 10, 2010 11:00 am at Grace Presbyterian Church, 101 Coburg Street, Saint John. A special Thanks to The Church of St John and St. Stephen Home for the wonderful staff and volunteers. Donations may be made to the MS Society, St. John and St. Stephen Church Home Charitable Fund or a charity of one’s choice.
