Obituary of Lawrence Joseph LeBlanc
Lawrence “Larry” LeBlanc, beloved husband of Sandra (Myers) passed away on November 3rd, 2010. Born at Saint John on December 21, 1941, he was a son of the late Clarence and Beatrice (Northrup) LeBlanc. A lifetime Saint Johner, Larry worked on the Princess of Acadia for many years, as well as in the manufacturing and construction industries. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed nature, fishing, and hunting. Larry loved to laugh and tell stories, and his good sense of humour will be greatly missed by his family and loyal friends, who were his number one priority. Larry and Sandra had just celebrated their 49th anniversary. In addition to his wife, Larry is survived by his children Kim (Carlos) Nunes, Larry (Joanne Tansey) LeBlanc, Kevin LeBlanc, Darren (Bev) LeBlanc, Jeffery (Shirley) LeBlanc, and Sandi (Gerry) Wood, siblings Wayne (Margaret) LeBlanc, Diane (Paul) Blizzard, Sharon (Jim) Comeau, Paul LeBlanc, Michael (Heather) LeBlanc, Brenda Martin, Kathy (Tony) Hachey, Debra (Greg) French, and Wanda Lockhart. Larry is also survived by his grandchildren Nicholas, Cassie, Danielle, Cody, Lucas, Liam, Micheline, Darren Jr., Sarah, and Devin, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Larry was pre-deceased by his parents, Clarence and Beatrice. Arrangements are entrusted to Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, (634-7424). By Larry’s request, there will be no visitation. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 6th at 11:30 from Brenan’s Chapel. For those who wish, remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
