Obituary of David Clifford Hannah
HANNAH, David Clifford, Saint John the husband of Patricia Winifred Hannah, passed away on Friday, February 26, 2010 at the Saint John Regional Hospital.. Born in Saint John, on June 8, 1925, he was a son of the late William Clifford Hannah and Daisy (London) Hannah. David was a veteran of World War II, serving as an air gunner with the R.C.A.F. He served as a volunteer as a former Scout Master, a member of the Corporation, with Trinity Church, Saint John and was a current member of the Maritime Commercial Travellers’ Association. David is sadly missed by his family, wife, Patricia (Ingram) Hannah; son, D. Mark (Alison) Hannah; daughter, Deborah C. Hannah (Steve Niddery), both of Saint John; brothers, R. Rodney (Marie) Hannah, Neville B. (Maxine) Hannah; sisters, Elizabeth M. Barton, Eleanor B. Martin; grandchildren, D. Ryan Hannah (Kara Doiron), Alexander T. Hannah; Sarah K. Hannah; several nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (634-7424), with visiting on Sunday, February, 28, 2010, from 2-4. There will be a celebration for David’s life, 2-6, Monday, March 1, 2010, from his home, 30 Thistle Street, West Saint John. Flowers are welcome, donations in David’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society of New Brunswick.
