Obituary of Evelyn A. Burhoe
The death of Evelyn Agnes Burhoe of Saint John, NB, wife of the late, Lyman B. Burhoe, occurred on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at the Loch Lomond Villa. Born in Milkish Creek, NB, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Charles and Mary A. “Mabel” (Cameron) Hall. Evelyn lived in Rothesay, NB for most of her life where she was involved with the Women Aglow Club, the Full Gospel Business Men’s Club and a member of St Paul’s Church in Rothesay. She is survived by her sons, Darrell (Caroline) of Norton, NB and Richard (Beverley) of Quispamsis, NB; daughter, Colleen Ann Browne (Thomas) of Chargin Falls, OH; brother, Norman Hall of Quispamsis; sisters, Grace Bostwick of Long Reach, NB and Josie Cairney of Durham, ON; nine grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Evelyn was predeceased by her brother, William Hall and sisters, Vira Buckley, Doris Waddell, Alice Beaver (Sherwood) Hall, Ethel Hatfield and Hazel Lindsay. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, 634-7424 with visiting on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Friday, February 19, 2010 from Brenan’s Chapel at 10:00 AM. Interment to take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
